Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Deut. 6:5-7

The Purpose of Real Beginnings is:

• To assist and support parents in laying the spiritual foundation for their children which will lead them into a personal   relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
• To help each child associate God, Jesus, the Bible, and the Church with love and security.
• To help each child feel a warm sense of belonging to his/her church family and to insure each child feels safe, welcomed, wanted and loved.
• To help each child know that the Bible is a special book that tells him/her about God, His son Jesus Christ, and His love for him/her.
• To help each child morally and biblically relate to other children, adults, and the world around him/her.
• To provide Godly men and women opportunities to serve as positive role models as they minister to preschoolers and their families.

We Believe…

• Children are a gift from God and should be handled with love and care.
• Children are important in the Kingdom of God and that Christ died to redeem children from their sins.
• That God has appointed parents as the primary religious instructors of their children and the role of the church is to assist in the   cooperative effort of that task.
• Successful ministry is the shared responsibility of parents, ministry staff, volunteers, and the church body.
