The Preschool Ministry of Cascade Hills Church in conjunction with The Growing Room offers the Mother’s Morning Out (MMO) program as a privilege and reward for those who faithfully serve in the C.H.C. Preschool Ministry at least one session (hour) a month.
The MMO program is from 9:00am – Noon every Tuesday (except holidays). It is open to children ages 8 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten.
In order for parents to participate in the MMO program, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
- Parent(s) must have attended Bible Study or Worship the previous weekend.
- If the parent(s) is out of town and attends services in that town, they may bring a bulletin from that service and we will honor it.
- Parent(s) must volunteer for at least one session (hour) a month in the Cascade Hills Church Preschool Ministry
In order to insure a safe learning environment for the children, we must have an adequate teacher to child ratio. For this ratio to be in compliance and to the fairness of all participating in the MMO program, the following guidelines must be followed in order for parents to participate in this program:
- Reservations must be made for the child by noon the Monday prior to MMO.
- Reservations can be made at Preschool Welcome Desk on Saturday nights, Sunday mornings or through the Preschool Ministry office.
- Reservations for each age group will close when the room has reached capacity and/or teacher/child ratio has reached its limit.
- Children will be assigned to classrooms by Preschool staff.
- Children are not to be moved from those classrooms to another classroom except by a Director.
In order for the MMO program to operate effectively, the following policies must also be adhered to:
- Children must have their breakfast before arriving at MMO.
- Due to time constraints, MMO staff will not be able to feed children their breakfast.
- Children also need to be appropriately dressed for learning & play
- Please provide an extra change of clothes in case of accidental soiling.
- Parent’s need to drop-off their children no earlier than 9:00am & no later than 10:30am. Parents also need to be prompt in picking up their children by Noon.
